Why come?
Often if we are stuck in our lives we are unable to move forwards because we cannot see what is blocking us - usually our own emotional blocks. Family constellations reveal those hidden blocks so we can find ways to move on.
Family Constellation workshops are like Heineken - they reach the parts other talking therapies cannot reach. In a workshop we combine our felt experience with healing sentences to create profound changes in people's lives.
This sounds a bit like therapy, but it is different. As one participant said it's like 6 months of therapy in one day.
Participating in a group can feel very scary and exposing, but the joy of the group work is that people only need expose as much of themselves as they feel comfortable with. It can be a huge relief to see other people's constellations and learn that your issues are similar to others'. Participating in a group lets people have an experience of being held and respected in the group. Workshops inevitably end with people who were strangers a few hours ago, departing with deep heartfelt hugs.

Who is this workshop for?
So who should come to this workshop? Anyone who has an issue in their life, they just can't seem to fix. Perhaps the issue is longstanding - perhaps you just can't get on with your mother, or father, or you have a sibling who is really, really difficult. Perhaps you are worried about one of your children, and you can't seem to figure out how to help them.
At a recent workshop we had one participant who felt they could never be good enough and was tired of their own pursuit of perfection, another participant had a sister who would not speak to them. Once we set up the constellation and could see all of the influences on their family system - not just personal influences like losses of family members, but also global influences such as the war, and being in a particular place at a particular time, the issues the participants were facing made much more sense to them.
Liz
Sleeper is passionate about
Family Constellation work
and its impact on people's lives. She completed a two year
Family Constellation training with the Centre for Systemic Constellations in 2011. In 2012 she took further specialist training with international teacher and trainer Judith Hemming. Since completing her training she has been running workshops and doing one to one constellation consultations in Lewes and Brighton. She also transcribes at Moving Constellation workshops in London to maintain contact with the best in the field.
