Acupuncture with Ian Stones
Emotional Freedom Technique & Ho'oponopono with John Blosse
According to traditional Chinese philosophy, our health is dependent on the smooth flow of our body’s energy. This energy, referred to as Qi, can easily become disturbed or imbalanced and there are many aspects to people’s lives which cause these imbalances.
Acupuncture aims to address the imbalances using the insertion of very fine needles along the channels of the body encouraging the body to return to a state of balance and health.
Traditional acupuncturists are trained to use subtle diagnostic techniques that have been developed and refined over thousands of years.
Acupuncture is always focused on the individual rather than just their main complaint and all symptoms are seen in relation to each other. Because every patient is unique, two people with the same western diagnosis will each receive different acupuncture treatments.
Acupuncture is considered to be beneficial for a wide range of illnesses and symptoms and is suitable for everyone. Some people will come for clearly defined complaints such as back pain whilst others come for their general wellbeing.
Ian Stones graduated from the College of Integrated
Chinese Medicine in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Acupuncture. He is a member of the British
Acupuncture Council, Brighton and Hove Acupuncture and
Childbirth team and is a founding member of the Zita
West fertility network. During this session Ian will
introduce the basic philosophies behind acupuncture and
how it works. He will also dispel some of the myths
associated with Acupuncture and talk about his
experience treating a wide variety of conditions.
In this talk and demonstration, John Blosse will introduce EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) in combination with the ancient Hawaiian healing process called Ho’oponopono. EFT involves tapping with one’s fingertips on energy points mainly on the face and neck whilst repeating key phrases in order to let go of negative emotion. Ho’oponopono is an ancient method of forgiveness and reconciliation. We work with our inner child (subconscious mind) and allow The Universe to heal. EFT and Ho’oponopono work beautifully together and allow for deep core healing. Our subconscious mind creates our world, but acts as the unseen hand. Events happen to us, but we don’t often know why. We use logic in order to clear our own path through life. Yet, using logic allows us to see from the viewpoint of an ant. When we open ourselves to the Universal Source we are guided. When we work with our inner child we become free from emotional pain. During this session we will learn how we can use these two methods on ourselves to release negative emotions, so please bring an issue you'd like to work on! .
